It’s May!  It’s May!  It’s May! I love this time of year.  Spring is so hopeful and bright and fun!  There are flowers and green grass and it’s the perfect weather for mid-morning walks.  The sun makes me so happy and Mother’s Day is just around the corner.  What a great season! Crazy Fashion Show Prep

Things might seem a little out of control here. Currently I have six different products that are in various states of completion. There is rope, chain, paint, beads, trash, plastic bags, set pieces and all of my failed attempts at creating great new jewelry pieces scattered around our my family room. My SNAP! swag, business cards, and sponsor info is piled on our dining room banquette. The laundry from the 5 days I was gone is heaped in the corner of the family room by the laundry. I’m sure you’ve noticed that I’ve been a bit M.I.A. on the blog lately.  I guess I have to admit what is so clearly true. I’m burned out. Business has been booming for my Etsy store {which is always surprising to me}.  I’ve been getting so many orders for welcome mats that I can hardly keep up. So, what’s a girl to do? This weekend I’ll be selling some super cool handmade stuff at our local “Handmade for the Holidays Bazaar”.  I’m working my tail off trying to finish my inventory and my booth set up in time. That’s right!  My Beautiful Mess is going on the road soon!  No, I won’t be traveling {how sad!}.  But I will be at some local bazaars selling the things I feature in my Etsy shop, plus some unique and new items that will be bazaar exclusives. This is such an awesome week for my etsy store.  My items are being featured on two different handmade discount sites.  TWO!!  How rad is that??  Yes, I just said “rad”…that’s how excited I am.
