If there’s one thing I love when it comes to decorating it is making my rooms look unique.  I want them to be different and represent me and the work I’ve put in to them.  I love custom pieces I’ve gotten my hands dirty creating.

That’s why I adore this new rug company I’ve found!  Ok, maybe they aren’t new, but they are new to me and they are A-W-E-S-O-M-E! If you haven’t already been introduced to them, met Vecco – the most amazingly rad Paint-Your-Own rug company.

You can but a kit, complete with rug, stencil and paint or you can buy them separately and create your very own design and look.  I would probably choose the latter, but that’s because I don’t like people (or kits) telling me what to do.

Their array of stencils alone are amazing, including everything from monogrammed letters to kid room designs (think guitars and baseball bats and ladybugs and glass slippers) to chevron, honeycomb, southwest and Moroccan inspired designs.  And, as you can see from the image above, they have about a bazillion colors.  Ok, they have 13.  That’s almost a bazillion.

And the super cool things is that they don’t just offer door mats.  You can paint your own area rug also.  The floor of your living room could be designed and created by you.  That’s pretty cool.
