My etsy store has been blowing up lately. Seriously, the necklaces I sell are hot Mother’s Day gifts. It’s amazing. It’s wonderful. I love it.
It is, however, just little ole’ me sitting here making necklaces by hand. So in order to fill the orders I have received everything else has been put on the back burner. Including dishes, dinner, showers…oh, and projects. It’s just been a few weeks of me, wrapping pearls with wire. {And I still haven’t gotten tired of it. That must mean I like what I do!}
So as I make necklace after necklace, I haven’t gotten a lick of anything else done. No painting, no furniture stripping, no banner making (all on my to-do list). But I have taken a few spare moments to gather some inspiration from around Pinterest and I thought I’d share it with you.
Here are some of my newest fantastic finds. When you click on these, make sure you click all the way through to the original post. There’s good info, tutorials and pictures there.

Did you know you can remove scratches on DVDs or CDs using toothpaste? I need to try this with our Disney CD. “You’ve Got A Friend In Me” skips and that is just not ok because, let’s face it, it’s the best Disney song ever.

My kids would love this “laser” spy obstacle course made with yarn and painter’s tape! I’m going to save it for one of those rainy days when all I hear is, “It’s so boring here!”
